Canvas - Creating and Replying to Discussions
Your instructors that use Canvas may ask you to reply to or occasionally create your own Discussion topics for assignments. Replying to a discussion and creating your own discussion topic are two very different things. Most instructors will ask you to REPLY to a discussion topic that they have already provided you. However, there might be some occasions where your instructor will ask you to create your own discussion topic. Please read the instructions below about how to reply to a discussion that your instructor has provided, and how to create your very own discussion topic.
There is a video tutorial located at the bottom of this document
Replying to a Discussion
1) Open up the Discussions tab on your course’s left navigation bar.
2) Click on the title of the discussion topic that you wish to reply to.
