Canvas - NetTutor

This document explains how to access NetTutor in Canvas
The Parkside Academic Resource Center (PARC) offers one-on-one assistance to students in need of tutoring. The PARC covers a variety of disciplines and offers support for students on campus. NetTutor is the online tutoring service available within Canvas to all currently enrolled UW-Parkside students. 



New to Canvas?
If you've never logged into Canvas before and/or you do not have access to your course(s) yet, please click on the link below to self-enroll in the Canvas Student Resources course:

How to access NetTutor from within Canvas:

1. Open a browser and navigate to the UW-Parkside Logins webpage: https://www.uwp.edu/logins 

2. Click on the Canvas login button.

3. From within a Canvas course, click on the NetTutor link. [Note for Instructors: The link to NetTutor is located on the navigation bar in all live Canvas courses, though you may not see it in a sandbox course.]

When you first select NetTutor, you will have to agree to the End User License Agreement.

4. Click on the Accept and Continue to WorldWideWhiteboard button to agree to the terms. Once you have accepted the agreement you will not have to do so again. 

The NetTutor interface will launch in a new window. 

From there students can select the type of tutoring that they would like to receive.
