Canvas - Hiding the People Tab From Course Navigation Bar
This document will walk through how to hide the People tab on a Canvas course's navigation bar.
Within the Canvas course, click the Settings link on the course navigation bar. (The Settings link should be at the bottom of the navigation bar.)
In the course settings, click on the Navigation tab at the top of the page.
Find People in the list of navigation bar items and click on the 3 dots to the right of People.
Choose Disable from the menu.
People should no longer be in the list of active navigation bar items.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
