Caption Remediation - Adding the Captioning Team as a Collaborator for YuJa Videos

The following steps can be applied to individual videos, multiple videos on a single page, or to an entire folder of videos at a time. If you follow these steps for a folder in your YuJa library, the captioning team will have access to every single video and sub-folder within it.

Step 1: Login to Canvas

Step 2: Open any course where you have YuJa available and open the YuJa page in the course.

Step 3: Locate the videos or folder that needs caption remediation. You will be able to select multiple items at a time as long as they are located in the same page.

Step 4: Select the video(s) and/or folder(s) that are being submitted for caption remediation.

NOTE: You can select multiple videos or folders at once by click-and-dragging your cursor over them or by holding down the control (Windows) or command (Mac) key while clicking on the thumbnails. You can also select all of the items on the current page via the More Actions menu along the top of the page. Selected videos will have a light purple outline around their thumbnails.

Step 5: Once you've selected all of the necessary videos/folders on the current page, open the More Actions menu at the top of the page and select Bulk Share.

Step 6: Enter Taibrianna Foster and Liam Adcock in the Share With field. Click on Full Access to the right of the name field and switch it to Edit Caption Access. Click the Share button to grant them captioning access. Click the Save button to finish sharing the videos with the captioning team.

Step 7: Repeat the process for the videos and folders on other pages as needed.
