Caption Remediation - Adding the Captioning Team as a Collaborator

This document will walk through the process of adding the UW-Parkside captioning team to videos in My Media as a collaborator.

Step 1: Login to Canvas

Step 2: Click on your profile icon on the top of the left hand navigation bar and select My Media from the list of links.

Step 3: Find the video that needs caption remediation and click on the title of the video to open the video's page.

Step 4: Click the Actions drop-down menu underneath the video player and select Edit from the list of options.

Step 5: Click on the Collaboration tab and then click the + Collaborator button.

Step 6: Enter UW-PKS-G-Captioning into the box provided and click on the UW-PKS-G-Captioning option from the drop-down menu. Select the Co-Editor option and click the Add button.

Step 7: Repeat the process for each video that needs caption remediation.
