My Media - How to Copy a My Media Video Title

This document will walk through the process of finding and copying the correct video title for videos in My Media.

Step 1: Login to Canvas

Step 2: Click on your profile icon on the top of the left hand navigation bar and select My Media from the list of links.

Step 3: Find the video that needs caption remediation and click on the title of the video to open the video's page.

Step 4: When the video's page has opened, highlight the video's title located underneath the video player. 

  • How to copy text on a PC: Press Ctrl + C on your keyboard or right click and select "Copy" to copy the highlighted text.
  • How to copy text on a MAC: Press Command + C on your keyboard or Ctrl + Click and select "Copy" to copy the highlighted text.

Step 5: Paste the video title into the caption remediation form.

  • How to paste text on a PC: Press Ctrl + V on your keyboard or right click and select "Paste" to paste the copied text.
  • How to paste text on a MAC: Press Command + V on your keyboard or Ctrl + Click and select "Paste" to paste the copied text.
