SOLAR - Register for Classes

Read these instructions to learn how to register for classes using SOLAR.
- Visit the UWP website, click LOGINS, click SOLAR. After logging in to SOLAR, click the Student Center tile.
- Click Add a Class.
- Select a Term, then click to Continue.
- This will bring you to the Add Classes page, click the yellow Search button.
- This will bring you to the Enter Search Criteria page.
- On the Enter Search Criteria page, in the Subject section, you have the option to select an academic subject.
- On the Enter Search Criteria page, in the Course Number section, you have the option to type in a specific course number.
- On the Enter Search Criteria page, in the Course Career section, select undergraduate to view associate degree classes and bachelor degree classes; or select graduate to view master degree classes.
- Click Additional Search Criteria.
- Select additional search criteria (optional): Meeting Start Time, Meeting End Time, Days of Week, Instructor Last Name, Class Nbr, Course Keyword, Minimum Units, Maximum Units, Course Component, Session, Mode of Instruction, Campus, Location
- For example: In the Sessions section, select: Online 7 Week 1 or select Online 7 Week 2 to add a "7-Week Online" class, for accelerated online programs.
- Locate the class you wish to take, then click the yellow "Select" button next to the class status. Note: A green circle in the Status column indicates that the class is open. A blue square in the Status column indicates that the class is closed/full.
- This will bring you to the "Select classes to add - Enrollment Preferences" page. Click the yellow Next button to add the class to your Shopping Cart. Repeat this process for all classes you wish to enroll in for the Term/Session.
- After you’ve added all of your classes to your Shopping Cart, click the yellow Proceed to Step 2 of 3 button. After completing the remaining steps of the course registration process, a success message will appear on the screen indicating that you have successfully enrolled in classes.
