Logging into Canvas

You will need to use your UW-Parkside credentials to log into Canvas.

Global Navigation

The black navigation menu on the left when you log into Canvas is the Global Navigation area.

Home

Home is where your instructor will add readings, links, assignments and other items to modules, which are like containers that organize the course into weeks or item type.

Announcements

Announcements provide you with relevant news and updates posted by your instructor.

Assignments and Grades

The Assignments area provides a list of grade items created by your instructor, some of which may require you to submit your work online. The Grades area is where you can see the grades your instructor has submitted.

Quizzes

Quizzes are online quizzes or exams that could include a variety of question types, including multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank, matching, and short answer questions.
