How to Play Macbook Audio Over Classroom Speakers

Users can mirror their Macbook screen to the multimedia system in a classroom via a USB-C cable on the classroom podium. In order to play the audio alongside the video, the user has to update their Mac's audio settings.
1. Plug the podium's USB-C cable in to your Macbook.

2. Click the Apple icon on the top-left of the screen and open System Preferences.
Click the Apple icon and open System Preferences

3. Open the Sound settings.
Open the Sound settings

4. Switch to the Output tab and select the classroom's Extron device (ExtronScalerD in the sample below).
Switch to the output tab and select the classroom media system as the audio output

Your Macbook should now automatically switch the audio output to and from the classroom speaker whenever you plug/unplug your Macbook.
