Adding Honorlock to Your Canvas Course
Honorlock is integrated into every new Canvas course. This page shows how to add Honorlock to the course navigation bar if you do not already see it listed.
1. Go to the Settings page in your course and switch to the Navigation tab.
2. Find Honorlock on the bottom list of course navigation options. Either drag & drop it onto the upper list, or click the ⋮ More Options button and select Enable.
- The items on the upper list will appear in order on the course navigation bar on the left side of the screen. The items in the bottom list will not appear in your course navigation bar.
3. Click Save on the bottom of the page to save your course navigation changes.
Honorlock will transfer along with the rest of your course content when you copy a previous section of the course into an upcoming section. You will not need to redo this process, but you will still need to visit the Honorlock page in your new course in order to verify whether or not you want to apply the same proctoring settings that you used from the previous section.
