GlobalProtect VPN - Mac

Installing the client

1. Open a web browser and navigate to https://vpn.uwp.edu
2. Login with your UW-Parkside credentials
3. Authenticate using Duo
4. Click the link to download the Mac 32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent
5. Once the download completes, go into your Downloads folder, run GlobalProtect.pkg
6. Click Continue through the default settings

Connecting to the VPN

1. Select the GlobalProtect icon in the upper right corner of your screen

2. Enter "vpn.uwp.edu" in the portal address box and click Connect

 

3. Sign in using your UW-Parkside credentials

 

NOTE: Your credentials will be remembered for 12 hours

 

4. Authenticate using Duo

NOTE: Duo will automatically remember you for 12 hours

5. Once connected you will see the following window

 

If you no longer need VPN access, click Disconnect
