CANVAS - How to enable or disable "Discussion/Announcements Redesign"

This article contains information on how to enable or disable the new Discussion/Announcements Redesign feature.

Note: As of July 20, 2024 the Discussion/Announcements Redesign feature will become the default setting, i.e., users will no longer be able to disable it.

How to Enable or Disable the Discussion/Announcements Redesign feature in your course.

  1. From the Course Navigation, click on Settings.
  2. Select the Feature Options tab.
  3. Click on the red X icon located to the right of Discussion/Announcements Redesign.

  4. Select Disabled or Enabled.
