Okta - How to Enroll [START HERE]

What is Okta?

Okta Multifactor Authentication is a security solution that offers more flexibility and an improved user experience when authenticating into campus applications. It provides an additional layer of protection to ensure that your account remains secure while also offering a smoother and more user-friendly login process.

[1] Enroll in *Okta Verify

*Okta Verify is Okta's mobile application for Android and iOs devices.

1. From a laptop or desktop computer browser, navigate to https://myapps.uwp.edu.
2. Enter your UWP Username or Email > Next.
3. Enter your UWP Password > Verify.
4. Click Set up.
   
   
   
   A QR code should appear in the browser window along with instructions to download the Okta Verify app for your mobile device.

[2] Download/install the Okta Verify app on your mobile device

Click on the appropriate link below to view instructions on how to download, install, and set up Okta Verify on your mobile device:

• Okta Verify for iPhone
• Okta Verify for Android

Once the app is installed, use your mobile device's camera to scan the QR code displayed in the browser on your computer and follow the prompts to complete the set-up.

1. Download/install Okta Verify:
