View Reports in Collaborate Ultra
This document explains how to view reports by session in Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.
Blackboard’s contract to provide web conference services to the University of Wisconsin will expire on 6/30/2021. Access to Blackboard Collaborate Ultra web conference sessions, recordings, usage data, and all other services will end on that date. The UW System plans on negotiating a conferencing contract with Zoom before the start of the Fall 2021 semester. Alternative conferencing tools such as Microsoft Teams and WebEx will continue to be available during this transition. More information can be found here.
The View Reports tool in Collaborate Ultra allows you access details about a specific Ultra session. To get started, click on the three dots icon next to the room you're trying to view reports for:
Note: If you are trying to view reports from the Recordings tab, you won't see the option available. Reports are tied to specific sessions and must be accessed under the Sessions tab, not the Recordings tab.
Once you open the View Reports menu, you'll see a list of every session that's taken place in the Ultra room, even if you haven't recorded any sessions:
The reports are available for each time at least one attendee was in a session. You can see the start time, end time, number of participants, total length of time spent in the room, and you can download any results from Polls if you use that specific tool.To expand the view and see details about a specific session, click on the blue View report link next to the session you want to look at. From that new page, you'll see the details of that specific session:
Not only will you see the display names of each person within the session, but you'll also see how much time they spent in the room and how they joined the session. On the left side menu, you can also export a CSV file with the information provided in the report for your records.
