Using Powerpoint to create a JPEG (jpg) file for upload to Scala Content Manager

Step by step instructions on how to create an image file with PowerPoint 2013.

Before you begin adding elements to a slide in PowerPoint, click on the Design tab.

Expand the Slide Size drop down menu and select Widescreen (16:9).

Once you have finished adding content to your slide and are ready to save it as a jpeg, click on the File tab and select Save As.

In the Save As Type drop down menu, select JPEG File Interchange Format.

In the File name area, enter a descriptive title for your image file, then click on the Save button.

If you have multiple slides to be saved, select All Slides

If you are only saving one slide, select Just This One.

Note: The default size of a PowerPoint [16:9] slide saved to JPEG (jpg) format is ~ 2.64 mb [1280 x 720].
